a) Mahogony oblong box - lid is hinged; lid is secured by two metal hook and eye fasteners. Outside polished. Name plate on front says "K-E Leroy - Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Keuffel & Esser Co. - plate is metal, put on with 2 metal pins. Inside on lid is paper label saying "Canada Agriculture 053769". Inside is sectioned for b) to g).

e) set of six letters and numbers with rule on bottom (2 different lengths, 3 of each)
f) 6 points in point slots (1 slot empty)
g) 2 cardboard cylinders, each containing 1 small point
h) paper 4 3/8 x 2 1/4, advertising Leroy st on front, instructions on back.
i) paper 4 3/8 x 2 1/4 describing set with sketch of scriber and width of lines
j) paper 5 3/4 x 8 5/8 giving instructions for use of scriberstand.
