Small rectangular metal container for Victory V Lozenges, hinged lid. Rounded corners. Lid is decorated (see sketch) yellow, black, red, white & beige. Manufactured by Fryer & Co (Nelson) Limited, Victory Factories, Nelson, Lancs., England. Contain when manufactured LIQUORICE 1.42, CHLOROFORM 2.84 w/w. ETHER 0.71 w/w LINSEED 0.088, COLOURING AND SUCROSE BASE AD 100. This tin contains approximately 1 1/2 ounces. PRINTED IN ENGLAND
