.2) egg beater has chromium-plated gear wheel and frame, stainless steel beaters, with “Stainless Steel” stamped on one vane [wing] of each beater, square rosewood handle, stamped “Prestige” in silver and similar square knob on crank handle. Stamped “Made in/England” on either side of frame supporting handle.
.1 a-b) Off-white rectangular pasteboard box base, with pasteboard insert printed in burgundy, with off-white block printed in burgundy; “Prestige/Regd.” Insert has stamped-out openings for gear wheel, crank knob and beater support. Full friction-fit lid has central thumb cutout on each lower long edge. Printed in burgundy and light grey on off white. Made in England by Platers and Stampers Limited. Lid ends printed with this information: “Egg Beater/Precision Diecast Gear Wheels/8 Stainless Steel Wings/Polished Rosewood Handles/Chromium Plated Body/Stock Number 675/Printed in England”.
Lid top has china pencil marking of inventory symbols over “5.25”, [presumably the price].
