Description

Small oblong container for black cake mascara. Friction fit heavy cardboard lid covered with paper printed in red with gold borders and central title block: [black circular trademark with "Valaze" in white, above two white confronting silhouette female heads with stylized chignon hair style [a variation on the Valaze trademark, even though, at first glance, the image may appear to be two trees]/Persian Eyeblack/Mascara". Side front of lid printed in black with gold cursive writing: "Helena Rubinstein". Side black printed in black and gold "a [lower case "a"] Rubinstein p [lower case "p"]reparation. Interior of base divided into two equal lengthwise compartments, one for the cake of mascara and the other for the small, black applicator brush. Bottom of base covered with red paper. Lid has handwritten" 5 [cent sign]" in black grease pencil [see remarks]
