Description

Black button boots, c. 1900. Seven buttons on each boot (1 missing on right boot), leather, embossed at toe [which is a "bumper toe"], heels have been redone, inside cuff "803 6085", tongues overlap to outside. Pull strap missing from right boot but left boot has brown fabric pull strap with woven yellow text, "VICTOR" [trademark]/ TRADE MARK" and on the reverse: "THE/Robert/Simpson/COMPANY/LIMITED". Buttons appear to be leather or wood. Boots are lined with cloth, leather insoles.
