a) Black metal stand, has a brass tube with a knob to raise and lower eyepiece holder.
b) Brass canister and lid, to hold the larger eyepiece.

e) Wooden box, has a carrying handle and a hinged door, there is a crack running top to bottom on door. It has a high shelf to hold the other eyepieces. It is held closed by hooks, box is very well made with "dovetailed" corners. There are also several cracks on the back. The Microscope is manufactured by "Bausch and Lomb Optical Co."
