Black wool cap (Glengarry) fortified inside with heavy woven fabric and then linked with black silk. Two ribbons hang down the back, red pom-pom on top. Metal badge sewn on one side--"Deas Gu Cath" with a 16 a cross and a crown. Two pins hold badge to inside.
