Description

Reproduction of a black felt pill box hat ( N.W.M.P.). Oval in shape. The main body is black felt with a 3.8 cm. B and of white ribbon running around outside. On top there is a white ball in centre (made of ribbon) with ribbon around forming decorative design. There is a leather band around inside edge of hat. Two thin leather straps hang down, one from either side, to tie under chin. Hat lined in red satin, Two labels inside, one sewn to red satin: "William Scully Ltee , 2090 Moreau, Montreal, H1W 2M3. DEPUIS 1877 Accoutrements since 1877". The other label tucked in edge of leather: "Teamsters Quebec Local 1999, Etiquette Syndicale, Union Label, Canada, L-G".
