Description

Miniature note book with paper pages and calendar (1901) on last page. Paper pages tear out. Paper has gilt edges. Metal cover of unknown metal-silver/grey, brass color in places. Top of metal cover has ring attached, possibly to attach notebook to belt or chatelaine. Pencil has brass colored circular knob at end. Pencil slips through circular holder - one part attached to front cover and other part attached to back cover. When pencil is in place through both holders the notebook is held shut. Written inside in pencil -(1) Betalin 'compound' Lily and Co. pulvules 40 $3.50. (2) Mrs. Wilkinson Sussex. Small calender for July 1901, last page, printed.
