Description

b) Opera glasses and a) leather case. a) front, back and flap of case cut from one piece of leather. Double-thickness elliptical sides stitched in. One side is stamped "Made in USSR". All textured with a stamped hide pattern. Inside of case has four stamped/hand-written notations. Flap closed with brown snap fastener and has circular medallion with stylized representation of the mask of comedy in front of a stage curtain. Brown leather carry strap attached near top edge of one side. b) opera glasses, constructed of brass, with ivory-coloured plastic eyepieces, adjustment knob and lens housings and ivory painted metal bridge and lens rims. Bridge is marked "Made in USSR/2,5x65" and a logo with a central "C" inside a circle/triangle combination.
