Description

Lady's parasol, black silk roof jacquard woven "a la disposition"* with a tone-on-tone bachelor-button type flower spray in each of the sections. Eight rib-and-stretcher metal framework. Bamboo [? Reed ?] shaft finished with brown lacquer. Top of handle finished with silver-covered shallow crooked handle, embossed with stylized bud-and-leaf spray decoration. Ferrule tipped with tin [?].
