From accession book: "Photo of Uncle Wynne & George and Annie in front of Old Victoria Customs House. The stone foundation was built in 1875, Miners heading for the goldfields were issued permits here. The building is now "H.M.S. Malahat" on Wharf Street at the foot of Fort Street." (This looks like May John's handwriting.) In different ink and printed above 'Uncle Wynne' are the words: 'Customs Officer' and a line pointing to 'George' says 'in buggy'.Acquisition
