Photo album with pictures of Armstrong family members. Album is black leather with a gold metal clasp at side. Page edges are gold. The front is embossed in black and gold at top left and lower right corners. The design in bottom right corner is of black palm leaves and a floral branch tied with a stylized "ribbon" in gold. Back is highly embossed all over in a bordered floral design in black. The spine has horizontal black bands on black--otherwise plain. The album contains 16 double pages for photos; some pages have scenic designs in color; the "plain" pages are outlined in gold and the pictures are slipped into place thru a slot below photo opening--some are removeable. These photos were taken in England and in Victoria and some have been identified in pencil below photo.Acquisition
