RCAF issue wrap-around style Canadian Flying Suit Pants. Outside brown rayon or possibly nylon twill weave fabric – darker brown fabric on front than back. Square white label with blue writing. Image of airplane in top left corner of label, followed by words: “MEDIUM/ CANADIAN/ Flying Suit/ MADE BY/ S.S. HOLDEN LTD./ OTTAWA AND HULL/ 1943”. Lined with cream-coloured synthetic sheepskin. Inside crotch area and back of knees made of brown fabric. Button holes along inside of legs act as eyelets for fastening laces. Pants have raised waistline and hanging loop at back centre. Edges finished with self-fabric binding.Acquisition
