Large serving platter used for turkey.
Earthenware, ecru with design in brown. Design is stylized - Oriental with sailboats, flowers, berries, bamboo. Center has large decorations; 2 1/2" rim has very detailed designs continuously around.
Platter is earthenware with grooves for drippings. Back of platter has molded "legs" and juice well. Stamped on back is small banner with "Sitka" on it; underneath "T. Hughes - Burslem". Rim slightly scalloped.
