Plough Plane CuttersEntry/Object ID
1976.071.494 a-hDescription
Eight metal cutters for a plough plane. Not a set - unknown metal appears to be cast, probably all cast steel - the top end is quite thin and flattened, cutting edge is much wider and is sharpened to a point. Each cutter is of some basic design.>Each cutter has a number - the cutters were normally sold in a set with various widths - as the cutter width increased so did the number on the end of the cutter.Acquisition
