Description

Remington portable typewriter, "Remette" model, in wooden case covered with faux textured leather; typewriter has matte black finish. Detachable lid. Full size QWERTY keyboard, type bars visible, in a semi-circle. Key bank (keyboard)] missing "1" key [see remarks], but has pound sterling key. Marked: "Remington", in gold, on the front of the paper table and on the reverse: "Made in Canada/Patented in Canada & other Countries". Marked:"REMINGTON RAND/LIMITED" back left corner of typewriter housing. No easily visible serial number.
