a) Olympic De Luxe portable typewriter, accessories kit and black plastic faux leather, luggage style zippered case with moulded plastic handle. Metal typewriter frame is light grey enameled metal on dark grey enameled metal base; chrome levers and other fittings. Moulded black keys, with white lettering, space bar and tab sets. Black/red ribbon. Lever setting for blue, white [stencil cutting] and red adjustments to ribbon. Central applied nameplate "Olympia" in cursive lettering and "De Luxe" stamped above the key bank. Plate on back reads: "Olympia Werke AG Wilhelmshaven/Made in Western Germany". Serial number "3733026" stamped on underside.
Square case has brass zipper [zipper tab stamped "Segger"] that opens three sides of the top, providing a shallow, hinged lid. Inside of bottom fitted with two rectangles of hard black rubber blocks to stabilize typewriter. Plastic decal inside reads: "Typewriter and case made in Western Germany".
B) Dark grey envelope style plastic pouch accessories kit with fold-over flap marked "Olympia" contains three pockets: for a brown envelope containing [used] pieces of "white-out" correction sheets; thin plastic erasing shield stamped "Olympia"; typewriter key cleaning brush, moulded, gently curved grey handle marked "Olympia" and rectangular head set with short black bristles around the perimeter, with the centre filled in with brass metal wire bristles. Back of pouch stamped "Made in Germany".Acquisition
