Description

Oliver Typewriter a) Dark green enameled Oliver No. 5 typewriter. In gold lettering on green paper table reads “The/ OLIVER/ Typewriter” with gold decal in red circle to right of writing. Hoop-shaped typebars swing inwards from sides. In gold lettering on front of green typewriter body reads: “ The__________No.5./ OLIVER/ . STANDARD VISIBLE WRITER”. Integral metal handles on sides of typewriter body for carrying. Ivory coloured keys with black writing. Function keys [FIG, CAP, TAB] black with white lettering. Metal plate attached under spacebar lists patents. Bottom front of typewriter body reads: “MANUFACTURED BY/ The Oliver Typewriter Co. CHICAGO. U.S.A./ Keep machine cleaned and oiled.” Serial number 402316 on metal bar at back. b) Grey, rectangular, thick felt, Oliver typing pad.
