a) box b) lift-off lid. Rectangular merchandise box covered with black finely-textured paper with lift-off lid, similarly covered. One end has printed label reading "Turnbull's Underwear/Range/676 [pencilled notation (2-??)] Vests// Size/ 42// Style/LNSS (9pencilled notation 'Pure Wool')// Doz./1/2// Price/ [pencilled notation] 6B". Separate white sticker printed "Hudson's Bay/Company/151N B7/9529/$2.25". Underside of base has stamped notation "APR 2 1940". Top of lid has notation in marker ink "$10.00.
