Lady's brown drawstring beaded purse with gold sateen lining. Beadwork has been divided into three sections, the middle with a white bead background is nearly twice as deep as the top and bottom brown beaded sections. The center section has a continuous beaded rose design of flowers and leaves. Top and bottom sections are stylized - 3 on each side of purse - multicoloured. Fringe at bottom is of twisted groups of 2 - brown beads. Top of purse has been crocheted with a 1/10" thick brown cotton around top, then groups of three loops through which brown cotton cording has been laced - each end of top also has a metal, small ring (crocheted over) through the cording also goes. The lining has been sewn to the top of the purse only. Basic material unknown - probably cotton. Loop for hanging.
