Wooden roofing shingle with "Sidney Mills Ltd." stamped in a curve in black lettering; "Sidney, B.C" stamped, also in black, below it but in a straight line. There are three visible nail holes on left (thinner) side of the shingle--one above, a second the same size on bottom; the third, much small, 2 1/4" in from bottom hole and closer to bottom edge. Stamping has blurred and there is a black smudge between printings and black ink smudges at right edge and part of left. Reverse (or right side) has been stained medium brown part way up.Acquisition
