"Carbonized Sales Book". Book No. 26 from Sept. 30 to Oct. 15. Date 1927. 100 pages of carbon copy sales slips stapled together (bound) along left edge with 3 metal staples. There is a thicker paper cover that helps bind pages together and comes around back side and folds at right edge to become the front cover. "Sept. 30 to Oct. 15" written in faded ink along left spine. First page blank, second page is where the numbering starts--1-100--on page in red ink. Sales are for everything from flour and oatmeal to nails, shingles and oil. The date of sale and customer's name written at the top of the page. "1927" written in pen a second time on front top right of cover, plus some pencil markings.Acquisition
