a) Red, rectangular, light-weight metal lid with rounded corners reads "OXO" in large off white letters with blackoutline, followed by "BRAND" in small black letters. Below "OXO" within an off-white rectangle with balck outline reads "DISSOLVE / AT ONCE" in black beside this in off-white rectangle with black outline is "CUBES" followed by another off-white rectangle with black outline which reads "SE DISSOLVENT / IMMEDIATMENT." Sides of lid gold coloured. Front side reads: "OXO'/ pour soups, sauces et tout plat de viande./ comme breuvage chaude les jours froids/Un Cube d'OXO dans un verre de lait chaud est un aliment / substantial pour tous./ Les enfants en aiment le gout et en beneficient./ OXO est recommande pendant la maladie et la convalesence./ ____________/ Fabriques par OXO LTD., Londres Angleterre./ Succursale au canada OXO (Canada) LTD 428. St. Peter Street Montreal. Not hinged. b) Small light weight metal, gold coloured oxo tin with black writing on outside. One long side reads "OXO LTD./ (UK COAT OF ARMS) BY APOINTMENT on left and "OXO CUBES/ REFRESHING AND STIMULATING to the right of the coat of arms. Other long side reads "TRADE [three-leafed clover-shaped logo with image of a cow's head on each leaf] MARK on left and CUBES 'OXO' / RECONFORTANT ET STIMULANT" to right of trademark. Both short sides read contents/ 10 OXO CUBES."
