Metal lined, fabric covered trunk; 2 leather straps with buckles encircle trunk back to front. Metal lock in center of front (no key) is covered by another strap overlocking it, which in turn in held in place by a short buckled strap. Leather strap handles are riveted on each end. Leather hinge holds lid on. Leather corner reinforcements. Labels here and there are mostly destroyed. All edges are leather-bound.
