Description

"The Hoover Cleaner"--vacuum cleaner c. 1921. Upright model. All metal, very heavy, in working condition. Bag is brown cloth with maple leaf and HOOVER spelled vertically under it--it is not the original bag. Electric cord is possibly newer also--it has been mended near the plug with black electrical tape. Handle also has been covered with black electrical tape. Red triangular (with curved top) logo edged with black on sweeper unit says "The Hoover Cleaner--IT BEATS AS IT SWEEPS AS IT CLEANS'. Embossed logo on motor unit is round--man in center--says "Service to the Home-Hoover".
