Rectangular basket - recorded information "Basket, square with handle, made of cane. Possibly of Mexican origin. Wicker has been dyed red & green and two green-red-green bands have been woen into the basket area. At the point where the handle is attached to the basket a diamond shaped design has been formed in wicker dyed red & green. On the two parallel sides of the basket which the handle is not attached to a raised "/\" shaped motif has been attached in the center. Wicker is bent to form a design inside this area. Woven with small nails holding central ribs in position.Acquisition
