Scope and Content

The pinewood of this bowl was salvaged from the dismantled wooden underground oil store tank built in Silsbee, TX by Santa Fe Railroad Co. in the year 1903 - dismantled in 1954 presumed age of tree when cut over 400 years. The bowl was presented to the Wesley Bible Class in honor of Mrs. W. L. Brigance in recognition of her faithful and devoted service as a teacher.
