Notes

Mrs. John Henry Kirby is wearing a lovely 1900 Edwardian dress. This was the age of opulence. The dress is a tailored outfit which worked perfectly with a hour glass corset. We see embellishes on the dress, high collar, long sleeves, large feathered hat(ostrich), and long gloves. Her fur is a fox fur. We are not sure about the color of her items since the photo is black and white. Mrs. Kirby is an example of the social elite of her time.
