Description

ThecPrice Family operated the Dixie Queen across from the current Post Office. It was a popular hangout for kids after school. They are 19 cent hamburgers, malts, and drank cokes. A second Fixie Wueen opened on Highway 327 during the 1970’s with dine in eating and table top juke boxes. The high school kids rushed there during lunch for their famous cheeseburger basket.
