Scope and Content

This commemorative poster celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Can-Am Series (1966–1974), spotlighting the raw power and innovation of one of North America’s most thrilling motorsport chapters. The Mitty is a major annual vintage and historic sports car race and festival at Road Atlanta, organized by Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) and sponsored by Classic Motorsports. The poster is dominated by a vivid image of Peter Revson’s orange McLaren #7 at Road Atlanta. The poster was created for The Mitty vintage racing event in April 2016 and published by Victory Lane Magazine. The poster blends nostalgia with reverence, honoring the Canadian-American Challenge Cup’s legacy of speed, spectacle, and technical audacity.
