Scope and Content

This poster presents a stylized tribute to the 1938 Alfa Romeo Tipo 8C 2900 B, depicting the car in motion with two helmeted drivers and bold vintage typography. The artwork uses a warm yellow‑to‑beige gradient background and a dynamic red rendering of the 8C 2900 B to evoke the speed, elegance, and prestige associated with Alfa Romeo’s pre‑war racing era. The bold “ALFA ROMEO” title at the top and the model designation “1938 TIPO 8C 2900 B” at the bottom frame the composition, while the signature “S. Simon” identifies the illustrator. The 8C 2900 B itself is widely regarded as one of the most advanced and beautiful sports cars of the 1930s, and this poster captures that legacy through streamlined forms and classic poster‑art aesthetics.
