This print captures a moment of early motoring adventure in an alpine setting, with a bright red touring car carrying two passengers along a rural mountain road while snow‑covered peaks rise dramatically behind them. The rustic cabin, the two figures greeting or signaling the travelers, and the telephone pole in the distance all help anchor the scene in a time when automobiles were still novel intruders in remote landscapes, giving the image a warm, narrative quality that blends travel, human connection, and the romance of the open road.Collection
