Bold lettering announces “Corsa dei Milioni” (“Race of the Millions”) at the “Circuito di Pescara,” (Pescara Circuit) with the date “15 Agosto 1947” (“15 August 1947”) anchoring the event in the immediate postwar era. Additional text notes a “Concorso a premi dell’Associaz. Naz. Reduci” (“Prize competition of the National Veterans’ Association”) and highlights total winnings of “Premi: 21,500,000.” The overall effect is energetic and celebratory, selling the race as both a sporting event and a chance at extraordinary riches.Collection
