The photograph shows Jim Adams driving a Ferrari 312P in the 1971 Road Atlanta Can‑Am round, captured in motion with the car’s low, wedge‑shaped bodywork and its prominent 76 race number. The image highlights the car’s clean, purposeful lines, open cockpit, and period sponsor markings—STP, Shell, Champion—while Adams sits low behind the wheel, emphasizing the intensity and speed of early‑’70s prototype racing. The blurred background reinforces the sense of pace, and the caption identifies both driver and machine, tying the moment to Ferrari’s brief but memorable participation in Can‑Am competition.Collection
