This nostalgic poster celebrates the “Great American Race,” held from June 25 to July 5, 1986, with Pontiac serving as the official pace car. The central montage features three emblematic vehicles: a vintage early 20th-century car with passengers waving an American flag, a chrome-laden mid-century classic, and a sleek modern Pontiac sports car—each representing a chapter in American automotive history. A handwritten dedication—“For Fred, A true enthusiast”—adds a personal touch to this tribute to American motoring culture.Collection
