Post WWII Alfa Romeo Badge

Description

This badge was used from 1945 through 1950. The golden laurel-leaf crown celebrates Alfa's P2 victory. Interestingly, this badge has some light blue left on it where a similar badge in the box DB15 has red. The machinery to make the prewar badges was destroyed in Allied bombing. So, for five years, Alfa used this more straightforward casting method to produce badges.
