This vintage poster commemorates the Targa Florio Storica, a historic revival of the legendary Sicilian road race, held in Palermo from May 10–13, 1973. The design features a deep red background with an embossed classical motif of a racing driver surrounded by stylized horses—an allegory for speed, power, and tradition. The text includes several Italian phrases: “Targa Florio storica” meaning Historic Targa Florio; “Registro Vetture d’epoca” meaning Registry of Vintage Cars; and “Automobile Club Palermo”, the organizing body. The inclusion of Alfa Romeo highlights the marque’s long association with the event, which dates back to the early 20th century.Collection
