Sister Juliana Fritz, CCVI was born on March 26, 1934 in Castroville, Texas. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in 1952, took her first vows in 1955, and made her final profession in 1960. She lived a short but impactful life and served as an elementary educator and physical education teacher at schools in Texas and Louisiana. Sister passed away from cancer at age 35 on October 16, 1969. She was fondly remembered by her Sisters and students; one student from Archbishop Chapelle High School in Metairie, Louisiana remarked, “Sister Juliana was one of the most courageous and well-rounded people I have ever known.”

Sor Juliana Fritz, CCVI nació el 26 de marzo de 1934 en Castroville, Texas. Ingresó a la Congregación de las Hermanas de la Caridad del Verbo Encarnado en 1952, hizo sus primeros votos en 1955 y su profesión perpetua en 1960. Vivió una vida corta pero impactante y sirvió como educadora primaria y maestra de educación física en escuelas de Texas y Louisiana.
