Sister Bridget Mary Brennan, CCVI was born in County Galway, Ireland on June 3, 1917. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in 1935, took her first vows in 1938, and made her final profession in 1943. She received her B.S. in Radiologic Technology from St. Louis University in 1945 and spent her career working in radiology in hospitals across Missouri and Texas. She also served as provincial superior of the San Antonio province from 1967 to 1973. Sister Bridget Mary retired to San Antonio in 1993 and passed away in 2006.
There is little documentation of Sister Bridget Mary’s artistic endeavors; however, she was featured in a 1994 exhibition of Sisters’ artworks at ReBarn Center for Spirituality and the Arts in 1994. Her obituary states “she played music, crocheted baby layettes that she often gave to the Incarnate Word Retirement Community gift shop, and was quite an accomplished seamstress.”Research Type

La hermana Bridget Mary Brennan, CCVI, nació en el condado de Galway, Irlanda, el 3 de junio de 1917.
