Description

Title [assigned by archives]: Ranch Scene Sister Geraldine (Geri) Eveler, CCVI (1930 – 2013) created this drawing using ink on paper. A wire fence runs diagonally through a field in front of a seemingly abandoned ranch house with a boarded-up window. The landscape surrounding the house is dry; several trees appear without leaves. Sister drew this work in 1978 while serving as the Principal of St. Mary’s Academy in Amarillo, Texas. It is possible that she based the drawing on a real scene that she saw in the Texas Panhandle.
