This chalice was presented to Sister Columkille Colbert, CCVI by the Little Flower Club at Christmas in 1929. She was the first Catholic Sister in Texas to earn a PhD from Catholic University in Washington D.C. Shortly thereafter she was appointed President of Incarnate Word College, serving in that capacity until 1960.

Este cáliz se dio a Sor Columkille Colbert, CCVI por el Little Flower Club en la Navidad de 1929. Fue la primera religiosa católica de Texas que obtuvo un doctorado en la Universidad Católica de Washington D.C. Poco después, se la nombró presidenta de la Universidad del Verbo Encarnado, cargo que desempeñó hasta 1960.
