Installation NoteNote
The wall installation attaches to the wall with map pins and takes approximately 1- 2 hours for one person to install. It comes in four pieces plus 7-9 small paper sea urchins to attach separately. Photographic directions of how the layers are attached will be included with the work. The paper has very thin strips which need delicate handling to prevent tearing. Push pins are used for the initial hanging and then replaced with map pins. The center floats on craft pins suspended above the rest of the papercut. The map pins should look invisible by letting the pin head overlap and hold the paper. Whoever hangs this piece determines the number of pins needed and their location. This piece is very light weight. I have always hung my wall pieces by myself and prefer to do so.
