Khan has produced considerable amounts of work related to the island of Manora, in the Arabian Sea, the once sought-after picnic spot and a calming reprieve for residents of a bustling metropolis, it is now slowly deteriorating. The island remains a tourist attraction, a destination for non-elite leisure, for the “lower to middle class. Rich people don’t usually go to Manora!
