Photograph thought to show members of the Senior Citizens group in costume during the parade held for the celebration of South River's 250th anniversary in 1970. The man and woman in the forefront appear to be wearing Steering Committee ribbons.
The view is on lower Main Street with spectators lining the sidewalk and a carpet store and Wilshire Fashions visible in the background.
The back of the photo has a note handwritten in blue ink that reads, "South River, 250 Anniversary Parade, 1970."
Color photograph measures approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is in excellent condition.
