Black and white photograph of Milton Dorin, owner of Wilshire Fashions, in the lobby of the factory outlet holding a portion of a 1936 movie poster advertising "Hooray for Love."
Photograph was included with a March 5, 1979 article in the Home News with the caption: "Oldies but Goodies - Milton Dorin, who owns Wilshire Fashions Inc, in South River, stands in the lobby of his factory outlet where some 11 years ago people would probably be waiting in line to see Alfred's Hitchcock's latest thriller. The Capitol Theater, a Saturday afternoon haunt for dozens of area youngsters, closed for good on Jan. 27, 1968 with the movie "Berserk" starring Joan Crawford. Here, Dorin Dorin holds a poster which decorated the theater during its early years."
The back of the photograph has handwritten notes in red ink: "S. River Theatre Capitol," "Milton Dorin owner Wilshire Fashions Inc." and "3/79."
Measures 8 1/2" x 6 1/2".Photograph Details
