The back of the photograph has a handwritten note that reads, "S. River - Bridges - Causeway Bridge." A date is also handwritten, "July 23, '72."
A similar photograph was used in a July 23, 1972 article in the Sunday Home News with the caption, "The Causeway Bridge over the South River is the focal point of Republican charges of bungling and incompetence."
