Photograph of two firefighters carrying the banner for the South River Fire Department in the parade held for the celebration of South River's 250th anniversary in 1970. The fireman on the left is Frank Mako; the one on the right is unidentified.
The view is of lower Main Street looking toward the river. A large group of spectators is visible along the sidewalk in front of the storefronts on the left side of the street.
Black and white photograph measures 5" x 7" and is in fair condition with the exception of the lower left corner, a portion of which is missing due to water damage.
