Formal announcement of the South River High School 1942 commencement ceremony. The front has the year 1942 embossed in the upper left corner and in the lower right corner, a sketch of the building with "South River High School" printed below it.
The text on the inside of the announcement reads, "The Graduating Class of South River High School announces its Commencement, Thursday evening, June eighteenth, nineteen hundred and forty-two, at eight o'clock, Capitol Theatre". A silver South River High School seal appears above the text.
Single sheet folded in half and in half again measuring 4 1/2" x 6" when folded. The announcement is in excellent condition with no major creases, tears, or stains.Acquisition
