Scope and Content

Front page of the November 4, 1970 issue of the Suburban Weekly . Two headlines read "South River Plans 250th Celebration: Five Day Event Kicks Off Friday" and "The Life & Times of a Hotliner". The photograph accompanying the article about the 250th anniversary shows a group of South River Junior High School boys posing in front of the time capsule displayed in the window of the First Charter National Bank office on Main Street. A postal sticker in the top right of the page reads "Occupant, 11 Garden Street, South River NJ 08882." Measures 11 1/2" X 17" when unfolded. Page is in good condition with wear, creases, and small tears all around the edges.
